vizt accepts GLB (best), OBJ, FBX, DAE, STL, PLY and IFC, up to 300 MB. Everything is converted and compressed automatically. Three rules apply to every program: model in metres, hide reference/construction layers before exporting, and don't worry about orientation — you place and rotate the model on the map inside vizt.
Tools → Options → Units → Model = metres.File → Export Selected → glTF Binary (*.glb). Keep materials checked.File → Export Selected → OBJ. In meshing options choose
Smooth & slower, check Weld vertices and Export material definitions. Upload the .obj.File → Export → IFC.File → Save As → IFC.File → Export → 3D Model → COLLADA (.dae) (works in Free and Pro).File → Export → glTF 2.0 (.glb).The viewer understands your model through
layer / material names. For every object vizt takes the material name first; if the material
is unnamed (a Rhino "default" material), it falls back to the nearest named parent layer / node.
Matching is case- and accent-insensitive (Cubierta = cubierta), the keyword only
needs to appear somewhere in the name (3.4.- TEJAS matches teja), and
Spanish + English keywords both work.
Each name feeds two independent decisions:
the category — what the object is, which drives viewer behavior (Roofs/Terrain toggles,
walking collision) — and the material — how it renders. puerta vidrio is a
Door (category: you can walk through it) rendered as glass (material). Both can be
overridden per layer from the project page, no re-export needed.
Checked in this order — the first hit wins
(puerta muro is a Door, not a Wall):

With Solid walls on (project page → Layers & materials) visitors walking the model collide with every object except Door layers. To make that work well:

see what was actually detected.Can't rename the source file? Use the Layers & materials card on the project page: it lists every material with what was auto-detected and lets you override the category (Door / Wall / Roof / Terrain / None), the material and a tint per layer. Overrides are stored with the project and apply to every client link.
Model arrives tiny or huge → the source file wasn't in metres; rescale and re-export. Missing walls → they were on a hidden layer during export.
